At a film festival, a filmmaker tries to figure out what the jury is looking for in order to win the award. But the fear of failure threatens to ruin more than just his career, while the search for recognition throws his own desires into crisis. by David Obarrio: We have a director who plays the same role as a spy as in his previous film (the intriguing Gombrowicz or The Immaturity), or as an infiltrator in a world that does not belong to him and through which he slips like a cat (sometimes literally on all fours). Only now he is in a setting that concerns him more directly and of which he becomes a part, perhaps reluctantly. So this unique character, Nicolás Valentini, the director in question, struggles to maintain that “outside” perspective at all costs, playing the clown a little, fiercely maintaining his position, as if from a trench. Could it be possible? The guy tries. The result is a film that is more complex than the previous one, and also more refined, with more questions and surprises. Tenemos un director que hace
