Sternbrücke Forever

A declaration of love to an edifice and its people, and a tirade against urban politics. Mehmet sells falafel, Martina has a kiosk and Stefan repairs cars. And every weekend, young people fill the clubs under the Sternbrücke – one of more than a hundred old railway bridges in Hamburg. But its time is up: the plan is to take down the bridge and replace it.
