Tussen oogst en kroost: landarbeidsters in het Oldambt

Former female agricultural workers from the Oldambt region in the northeastern Netherlands recall their lives and work during the 1920s and 1930s. They speak about starting work at a young age, long days in the fields, low wages and the struggle to combine agricultural labor with raising a family.
