A Latina in DC

A Latina navigating bad dates, racism and misogyny in DC.

A successful Latina woman living in Washington, D.C., exhausted by years of cultural stereotypes, microaggressions, and a string of disastrous dates including setups with politicians who prove to be disasters of their own reaches her breaking point after one unforgettable blind date sends her into an emotional spiral. As she struggles to hold together the polished life she has carefully built, Eva begins questioning everything: her career, her relationships, and whether she still belongs in the city she once believed represented success. Armed with her sharp sense of humor and the unwavering companionship of her cats, Eva embarks on a chaotic, deeply personal journey toward reclaiming her peace, her identity, and ultimately, herself.
