The Sound of Japan

Captured in the mountains and cities of Japan, this film blends immersive visuals with an original soundtrack, composed of sounds recorded on location by musician Jackson Fester. An audio-visual exploration of pace, memory and creativity, each train station announcement and temple bell enhances the rhythm of snowboarding and emphasises the cultural soundscape of this country.
