The NeverEnding Story III

This probably merits a lower rating. To be honest, though, it didn't bore me as much as it should have. <em>'The NeverEnding Story III'</em> is a mess, in short. It barely resembles the ace original and doesn't even feel that similar to the average 1990 sequel. The story is all over the place and doesn't hold any sorta magical feel, with it more being a 'fish out of water' sorta movie. Still, it went by quickly enough for me to avoid leaving a negative taste. It's a bad movie, no doubt, but is more watchable than it ought to be. The cast do alright. I was not expecting to see Jack Black appear, even with the name in the opening credits I kinda still thought it'd be a namesake - but no, Mr. Black is indeed in this (his fourth movie!) and is OK.
