Love Wedding Repeat

I watched Love Wedding Repeat as part of a little binge of romantic comedy watching so I can’t help but compare it to others. There are a few cliche situations here: The couple who connect solidly but who are separated by small events that they feel are beyond their control, but which could have been easily prevented; and a woman about to get married but who has a guy she slept with a few weeks earlier threatening to ruin her marriage. She didn’t quite convince me she loved the guy she was marrying, though the guy trying to steal her is a total loser. There are a few other things I could easily have done without as well. The irritating man who wore a kilt for no reason (since he was not Scottish), and who spent a lot of his time explaining in detail how it chafed his privates, while di
