Killer Sofa

It is absolutely insane to me that _Killer Sofa_ was this much fun. Now I don't know if I can call it "good" or even recommend it on a broad scale. But if you saw this poster and thought "That looks like something I'm gonna have to watch", then, yes, you do. Odd for a movie about a killer couch, but one of its problems is actually that it tries to be too much. You'd think, simple concept, but the movie introduces so many concepts, that by the time we're in the third act, it trips over itself trying (and failing) to do them all justice. The first two-thirds of _Killer Sofa_ is a great time though. It plays the concept totally straight-faced, which is actually why it works. It's hilarious because it's played seriously. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work
