When they finally manage to get her absent-minded dad off to work in the morning, "Sophie" and her mum plan to go for a walk - but it's raining. Healthy solution? Let's make cakes instead and have an afternoon tea. With the weather still terrible outside, there is a knock on the door and it turns out to be a rather bedraggled tiger who is a bit peckish. He doesn't want to eat the people, no, but he's very partial to some biscuits, cakes - indeed just about anything... Right from the outset this tugged at my nostalgia for "Mister Benn". Simple animations with a gentle moral - in this case about being not being rude and/or gullible, that celebrate the joys of childhood and family without complicating anything. There's nothing much to critique here, it does pretty much what it says on the tin
