I have to say that this was quite the disappointment. There is a prequel to this movie called His: I Didn't Think I Would Fall in Love. The prequel was excellent and well worth watching. This movie is long and to be honest, quite boring at times. It was far too long for the story they had to tell, it was a little over 2 hours, but it should have been much shorter than that. The story wasn't a bad one, but it's just the way they told it. The basics, without giving away spoilers. The prequel has them getting together when they were about fourteen. The movie opens several years later and one of them wants to break up out of the blue, blindsiding the other guy.
