Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown

Not a bad sequel to the first one, the characters are all new (except for Evan Peters who had a supporting role in the original) but the plot is on a similar page. In this one there is 4 instead of just 1 fighters we follow which makes for a good change up. To be fair I'm not sure any of the 4 could have a movie focused on only 1 of them because it's definitly a case where they got chosen for their fighting abilities more than their acting abilities. That said they do what their characters require of them and they all manage to get their personalities out on the screen so even though neither of them will probably ever win any acting awards in these roles they are perfectly acceptable. Michael Jai White steps up on the acting tip for sure as their mentor. Not a perfect film b
