This isn't really much of a gay movie, although there is that element to it. The focus is on a high school senior who is on the swim team when he learns that he has a medical condition that forces him to quit the team. There is a member of the team that confesses that he loves him and also his childhood best friend who seems to also be in love with him, but we aren't totally sure. At no time during the movie do we learn the main character's orientation. When the other guy confesses, he just walks away. The movie had the potential to be great, but in reality, it just wasted the potential. There are three scenes where it leans to what should have been very emotional moments, but each time it just cuts away. It also doesn't really have an ending.
