Jane Ellen Harker was born on November 13, 1923 in San Francisco, California. She was an actress, known for The Unfaithful (1947), That Way with Women (1947) and Love and Learn (1947). She was married to Samuel Lefcourt Lanier (born: Lefkovits). She died on September 10, 1988 in St. Johns, Florida, USA. A popular glamour girl of the late 1940s, she is best remembered as Alice from a number of the 'Joe McDoakes' film shorts.
