Danis Katranidis

Danis (Daniel) Katranidis (Greek: Δάνης (Δανιήλ) Κατρανίδης, Aigaleo, 4 August 1949 – Athens, 1 September 2024) was a Greek actor. He was born on 4 August 1949 in Aigaleo. He was a graduate (1971) of the Athens Higher Drama School Giorgos Theodosiadis. During the period 1971–1978 he was an actor at the National Theatre. In the 1978–1979 theatrical season he made history in the role of the compere in the legendary play Cabaret, staged with great success by Aliki Vougiouklaki, with whom he collaborated continuously for a decade.
