Biography

Pedro Collantes is a screenwriter, director, editor and producer. He studied cinema and specialized in editing in Madrid and later studied an MA at the Netherlands Film Academy. Since 2018 he’s a member of the OSCARS Academy (Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences) and of the French Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma since 2020. His short films have screened in international film festivals, including IFFR Rotterdam, Chicago Int. Film Festival, Encounters, or Festival des Filmes du Monde de Montréal. His work has received awards at Clermont Ferrand, Festival de Cine Español de Málaga…
