Namiko Ishidate

Namiko Ishidate (石舘 波子 Ishidate Namiko, born September 15, 1990) is an animator from Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University in 2013. Her 2D animation “Tayutaum" addresses the themes of oppression and liberation and was selected by the department as an outstanding graduation work and won the 3rd Newcomer Animator Grand Prize. With an aim to immerse herself in the tradition of Japanese animation, she worked at P.A.
