Nico Strik Peña

Nico Strik Peña is a dutch-uruguayan upcoming director, graduated from the Utrecht University of the arts in 2023. His films narrate small and personal stories, but always with an underlying universal theme. His work offers interesting perspectives, mixing inspiration from his personal experiences with what he sees around him. Nico has migrated from continents twice, and this has made him an international filmmaker, making work that goes beyond the geopgraphical borders.
