Alexander Belov

Aleksandr Belov graduated from VGIK in 2018 (Vladimir Alenikov’s workshop). In 2020, he defended his dissertation at MGIMO, focusing on the poetics of contemporary Iranian cinema. In 2022, he enrolled in the Moscow School of New Cinema (Oleg Dorman’s screenwriting workshop). He currently continues his studies at Stockholm University of the Arts, where he works within the field of artistic research, exploring the poetics of memory and trauma in cinema.
