Camilo Berstecher Barrero

Camilo Berstecher Barrero is a German-Colombian filmmaker, photographer, and art activist based in Saarbrücken. He studied Cultural Studies at Saarland University and earned his Master’s degree in Media Art & Design at the Saar Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under documentary filmmaker Sung-Hyung Cho. His first feature-length documentary, Die Kundin, premiered at DOK.fest Munich in 2021 and was later adapted for television as Marlies Krämer, die sanfte Rebellin, broadcast by Saarländischer Rundfunk.
