Jano Burmester

Jano Burmester (Lima, 1980) is a Peruvian filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and founder of ATIAJA FILM. He created Poética Fílmica, an analog film training project for young people. His work combines analog and digital formats to explore themes such as memory, grief, and emotional bonds from a poetic and socially engaged perspective. He is currently developing Sonqo Pampay, a film shot on 16mm and spoken in Quechua and Spanish, whose story unfolds between Lima and Paucartambo, Pasco.
