José Luis Huerta

Originally from Xochimilco, in the south of Mexico City, he debuted at age 10. At 14, he won the award for best actor in popular theater in Mexico City. Throughout his career, he has studied with teachers such as Regina Torné, Ricardo de Pascual, Rugiero Magaña, Sergio de Bustamante, Artús Chávez, Josefo Rodríguez, Geraldine Donnat, Carlos Álvarez, Carlos Torrestorija, and Luis Felipe Tovar, among others. Since 1998, he has served as director of “CATARSIS PRODUCCIONES,” which he founded and has produced for all 30 of its seasons. He has been the casting director for six independent short films…
