Andrew Burrows-Trotman

After earning a Double Honours degree in English and History at the University of Toronto, Andrew moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute's Screenwriting MFA programme. Upon graduation, Andrew was hired by independent producer, Miles Maker, to write a feature screenplay based on the real story of the Valley Manor Retirement Home about a cook (Maurice Jones) and a janitor (Miguel Alvarez) who stayed without pay to care for abandoned elderly residents when their assisted living home was shut down.
