Gabriel Murphy

Gabriel Murphy is a film director, writer, and producer working between Kambuwal and Gadigal Country, across the Australian continent, and overseas. A graduate of the Masters in Documentary Filmmaking at the AFTRS, he directed ENEMY ALIEN; a short film about Australia’s WWII-era Concentration Camps, premiering at Antenna Festival, and internationally at DOCNYC. The film won the ADG Award for Best Direction in a Student Film in December 2023.
