Jorge V. Cortés

Jorge V. Cortés is a Mexican-American filmmaker, writer, and visual storyteller born on February 20, 2001, in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Based in Torreón, Coahuila since the age of 15, he began his filmmaking journey in 2021 with a self-taught, independent approach. His work often explores themes of memory, identity, emotional trauma, and redemption, drawing deeply from his bicultural upbringing and personal experiences.
