Kevin Norwood Bacon (born July 8, 1958) is an American actor. Known for various roles, including leading-man characters, Bacon has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and two Actor Awards. Bacon made his feature film debut in National Lampoon's Animal House (1978) and appeared in Diner (1982) before his breakthrough role in the musical drama Footloose (1984).
