Trevor Burgess is an American entrepreneur and Emmy-nominated documentary producer, and chairman and CEO of Neptune Flood Insurance, the largest private flood insurance provider in the U.S., which went public on the NYSE in October 2025. A Dartmouth graduate, he spent nearly a decade as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley before founding C1 Bank, which he took public in 2014 — becoming the first openly gay CEO of a publicly traded U.S. bank — prior to its sale to Bank of the Ozarks in 2016.
