Amir Aziz

Amir is a photographer and videographer from Oakland, California. Using photography as his primary medium, Amir has documented the life and times of Oakland's Black community and the rapid changes in the city for over 10 years. He's also covered social justice movements in the U.S. and abroad with works featured in The NY Times, SF Chronicle, and The Daily Mail with an emphasis on the 2020 George Floyd protests and Hong Kong's umbrella movement.
