Peter Challis

Peter Challis (born October 4, 2006) is an American filmmaker, director, screenwriter, and actor. Studying Film Production at SLCC's School of Arts, Communication, and Media, Challis is primarily known for his student short films, such as his debut Sore (2025), his Nacho Libre slapstick comedy The Tale of Taco Niño (2025), and his newest film, Matchbox (2026). Challis is an accomplished stage professional, as an actor with over a dozen credits in theatres across Davis County, and as a Lighting & Sound technician for Centerpoint Theatre.
