Charlie T. Savage

Charlie T. Savage is a New Orleans native, screenwriter, director, and Navy veteran whose work explores identity, ambition, and how villains are made through the lens of the Black female experience. Most recently, her scripted work won the Best Screenplay award at the 2026 ESSENCE Film Festival, while her debut feature film, Voices, premiered at the 30th Annual American Black Film Festival, where it received a Best Screenplay nomination.
