Suha Belal

Suha Belal is an Egyptian-American filmmaker based in Cairo. Her first short documentary, Crooked Rib (2017), screened in Tunisia and at the Cairo International Women’s Film Festival. A graduate of The Jesuit Cairo Film School, she codirected Pieces of a Woman (2023), worked in production and assistant directing on films including Spring Came on Laughing and Cotton Queen, and produced The Push and Happy Birthday, Jesus.
