Gerardo Maloney

Sociologist, writer, and educator. Born in Panama City. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Literature from the José Dolores Moscote Institute in 1962; a degree in Sociology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1969; and a Master's degree in Sociology, specializing in Public Policy and Development Issues, from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Quito, Ecuador, in 1983.
