A. L. Srinivasan (also known as A.L.S) was a Tamil film producer who is known for having introduced many directors in Tamil cinema. Srinivasan was the sixth child in a family that had nine children. His younger brother Kannadasan was a poet and lyricist in Tamil cinema. Starting his career as a financier, Srinivasan slowly graduated to become a distributor and producer.
