The arrival of Elif Türkkan, a young high school teacher passionately devoted to her profession, marks a turning point in the lives of everyone living in this small town. Here, she meets Zeynep, a young girl in the prime of her life, and takes her under her wing. Thus, Elif embarks on a one-man battle against Volkan, the heir to the powerful Baykara family whom Zeynep is being forced to marry, and against this family that has cast a dark shadow over Sarpça. Over time, Elif realizes that someone else is also trying to change the town's unfortunate fate.
